Banded Bench
The
project delves on exploring the intrinsic property of materials,
taking the tensile capabilities of elastic rubber bands
as a
source of inspiration and medium for construction. The elastic
band stretches and straps around the stainless steel frame,
forming
a web of surface for seating. The distinct property of the
material renders the furniture its aesthetics as well as its
unique
feature
of one experiencing a gentle tensity while engaging in sitting on
the piece.
